Causes and Effect Essay
English is one of the most widely used languages in the world. English is also an international language, so it is very important to learn English. Because of that, we learn English since we were in Elementary School. So, we have a basic English skill when we want to speak English. There are several causes of people decided to learn English. Three possible causes are for work, communication, and to make us look very cool.
The first thing, we learn English for work. Nowadays, if we want to work or have a job in a company, we must be able to speak English. By having the ability to speak English, it will be added value to us. Other than that, we will also have a chance to get a job at the international level if our English skills are good. In the world of work, it is very important for us to be able to speak English, and that is why we learn English.
Another possible cause for people decided to learn English is communication, this is the most important thing. We know that English is an international language, when we meet with people from another country, we have to speak English because we may not understand their language, and they don't understand our language. So, we use English to have a communication with them. Since English make it easier for us to communicate with people from another country, we decided to learn English.
The last thing is to make us look very cool. For us who don't speak English as a mothertongue, we will think that we are very cool when we speak English. For example, when we meet with a tourist from another country and have a chance to talk to them, and our friends who are watching us speak English will think that we are very cool. It is very cool when we can speak English fluently, so we decided to learn English.
However, learning English is very important whatever the reason is. Whether it is for work or communication, English is very helpful to us. Because English is an international language, we must learn it.
