Solution Essay
Fatigue is a condition where you always feel tired,
lethargic, or lack of energy. Fatigue can be caused by many things, ranging from excessive
activity, psychological conditions, to unhealthy llifestyle. Low energy
levels can make it difficult to be productive at work or to engage in everyday
activities. Don't underestimate fatigue. Fatigue left unchecked
will cause health problems. Fatigue is associated with various health problems
such as digestive system disorders, heart and blood vessel system disorders
including brain blood vessels and decreased endurance. Three practical
solutions to fight fatigue are improving nutritional intake, exercise
regularly, and get enough sleep each night.
The first solution, improving nutritional intake is
one of the most important thing in the process of repairing body cells that are
damaged while being sick, including when you experience fatigue. Food is the
main energy source used by the body to carry out various activities. The body
needs food that produces energy that lasts for some time and can help
regenerate muscle cells and the brain. By eating the right foods, the body will
recover by itself and can return to produce energy. You need foods that contain
high nutrients that your body needs to stay energized. Increase the amount of
fruit, vegetables, wholegrain foods, low fat dairy products and lean meats in
your diet. Feeling tired is also one sign of dehydration, so you may not be
well hydrated and fatigue may arise. Drink enough water every day. Many say
that at least drink 8 glasses per day.
The second solution is to exercise regularly. You
might think that adding exercise to regular activities will make you more
tired. As it turns out, it will make you energized. This means that the body will
have more energy reserves as well, so it doesn't get tired quickly. Physical
activity is a known energy booster. Physical activity releases ‘happy hormones’
called endorphins. Endorphins help in elevating the mood and regulation of your
appetite, all of which can help to boost your energy levels. A study from the
University of Georgia shows that only walking 20 minutes and moderate intensity
aerobic exercise 3 times a week with routine can increase energy by up to 20 percent.
The third solution to fight fatigue is to get enough
sleep each night because the length and quality of sleep plays an important
role in the development of your body's health. The regeneration process of body
cells will occur when we sleep. If our sleep time is lacking, then this process
will not work perfectly. Therefore, we have to sleep enough to optimize the
regeneration process of cells, so we will have new energy to start activities
in the morning. The length of sleep that is usually needed by adults is 7-8
hours every night. Apart from the duration, the quality of sleep is equally
important. Screen light from various electronic devices can disturb your sleep.
Therefore, turn off all your electronic devices, including your lamp room.
Fatigue can reduce our productivity in daily
activities. Therefore we must fight fatigue so that we remain energized and
have strong stamina. By living a healthy lifestyle every day, you can banish
fatigue from your life.
